Salary: £ 37,012 - £44,166 per annum

The Centre for Petroleum and Surface Chemistry (CPSC) forms part of the Department of Chemistry, which is under the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences (FEPS), the largest faculty in the University. Recent investment from BP led to the creation of the CPSC.
This Lecturer position is initially to support the Director of the Centre for Petroleum and Surface Chemistry in developing a research portfolio consistent with the remit of the CPSC and BP as sponsor. Subsequently (within one year), to develop his/her own personal research portfolio in line with the Centre's and the Faculty's research strategies and to participate in Centre and Faculty administration, as required. To support the development of new undergraduate/masters courses/modules concordant with the Centre's interests, and teach/supervise at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
