PRISMA INDONESIA JOBS NOV 2012


Adam Smith International (ASI) is a leading global advisory company that specialises in providing economic growth and government reform advice to a range of clients in developing and lower middle income countries. The company was 20 years old earlier this year and we operate from four main offices in Sydney, London, Delhi and Nairobi. Our core expertise is in rural development, private sector development, public financial management, public administration reform, infrastructure development and mining sector governance. We work for AusAID, DFID, the World Bank, Sida, the ADB, the EBRD and directly for host governments.
ASI is a global leader in the design, implementation and evaluation of programs that adopt the Markets for the Poor (M4P) approach. We anticipate that AusAID will soon tender a new M4P program in Indonesia – PRISMA – that will operate as a component of the AIPD program. The program design summary specifies seven key positions:
  • Portfolio Manager
  • Assistant Portfolio Manager
  • Results Measurement Manager
  • Communications Manager
  • Sector/Value Chain Manager
  • Business Enabling Environment Grant Manager
  • Provincial Manager

ASI now invites high quality prospective applicants to submit a CV and covering letter (one page maximum, stating why you think you are a strong candidate) for any one of these seven positions by email toPSD@adamsmithinternational.com.  Details of each position can be found on pages 20 to 21 of the program design summary.  Please ensure the subject title states: Application for Indonesia PRISMA followed by the title of the position being applied for e.g. Application for Indonesia PRISMA – Provincial Manager.
Applicants for the Portfolio Manager position should note that ASI will only consider individuals with expertise in the M4P approach.
Applicants for the Results Measurement Manager position should note that ASI will only consider individuals with expertise in the DCED Standard.
