The University of Botswana (www.ub.bw) is the largest and most prestigious institution of higher learning in the country. The faculty of Health Sciences, one of the newest faculties of the Universities has the following vacancy to fill
Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) provide academic leadership in the development, review and implementation of nursing curricula, (iii) teach at both undergraduate levels, and (iv) participate in research and other activities of the department. In addition, the candidate will also be required to mentor junior staff in the areas of teaching, research and publications.
Requirements: Applicants should have: (i) a PhD, (ii) Masters Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner, (iii) a cumulative and sustained record of research and publication, and (iii) evidence of provision of academic leadership. Applicants must have a minimum of three years at the rank of Associate Professor or equivalent at a University or comparable institution.
