PROGRAMME LEADER, YOUNG PEOPLE LEARNING AND WORK

(Maternity Cover January – December 2013)

 £45,000 to £50,000 (0.6–1 FTE Pro Rata), plus defined benefit pension

We are seeking a well-connected, talented expert in the area of young people, learning and work, to join our Applied Innovation team and cover the maternity leave of the current post holder.  At the Young Foundation Young People, Learning and Work is one of our priorities.  We have a strong record in this area through our research, applied innovation work and our ventures.

You will be expected to cover in the areas of thought leadership, external relationships, developing new opportunities as well as delivering on existing funder and client commitments.  You will also be responsible for management of budgets and staff.

The Young Foundation brings together insight, innovation and entrepreneurship to meet social needs. We have a 55 year track record of success with ventures such as the Open University, Which?, the School for Social Entrepreneurs and Healthline (the precursor of NHS Direct).
