PROGRAMME MANAGER - Exodus Kampala Certified Public Accountants, Uganda

A Christian Non-Government Organization majorly dealing in evangelism, holistic and transformational development work in Uganda, is seeking to recruit dynamic and dedicated individuals to fill the following Vacancies in their Ugandan office.
PROGRAMME MANAGER:
Reports to : Executive Director:
Overall task: Provide leadership in planning, coordinating, monitoring and managing of programmes in the field. Provide technical and administrative advice to all partners and donors and play a key role in expanding programmes through the writing of concept papers and proposals. This is a management position.
Key Performance Areas:
  • Formulation and development of project proposals with programme holders and communities.
  • Planning and budgeting for the Programme Department.
  • Networking and maintaining good relations with donors and partners.
  • Submission of project reports to donors and key stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that project activities are monitored, evaluated and project reports submitted on time.
  • Ensure that project funds-are properly managed.
  • Identify training needs and build the capacity of partners.
  • Fostering team work within the department.

Requirement:

  • Knowledge and experience in managing projects especially community based projects
  • Proven ability in working with teams
  • Well developed conceptual and analytical skills
  • Experience in reporting and proposal writing
  • Experience in liaising and networking with donors
  • A committed and practicing Christian Education Specification/Experience:
  • A degree in programme management, development studies, social work or a subject relevant to this position. 3-5 years experience in programme management.
