Located 110 kilometres west of Newman, West Angelas offers a range of fly-in and fly-out rosters.  Operational since 2002, West Angelas was the first site to be incorporated into Rio Tinto's Mine of the Future™ project, operating autonomous trucks and autonomous drills. There are recreational options in the village and using the surrounding walking trails.
 
Reporting to the Superintendent Infrastructure, you will be responsible for liaising with stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
 
As a Project Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
  • Planning, executing and commissioning small to medium sized projects
  • Ensuring that project administrative requirement for the Infrastructure team is met
  • Facilitating the planning and scheduling process for effective utilization of resources and increasing reliability of equipment
  • Providing support to the Engineers, Infrastructure Supervisor and the Superintendent Infrastructure of West Angelas operations
  • Contributing to the sustainment of safety, conformance, performance and survivability of Infrastructure systems
  • Ensuring that planning of infrastructure operations is as per the standards, and customer's servicing requirement are delivered on time.
 
To be considered for this role, you will hold a qualification in Frontline Management. Your demonstrated experience in project delivery and customer service skills in construction or building services is also essential for this role. Your diploma in Project Management will be advantageous.
