Senior Artisan/Artisan Mechanical
This role involves maintenance on mechanical equipment as per STAR/SAMI process, technical investigations and faultfinding on mechanical equipment. You will also be tasked with inspection of plant equipment and will participate in risk assessments and HAZOPS.
Qualifications and expertise should include: • 3 years’ experience as a qualified artisan • A Grade 12/N3 with Maths and Science • An NQF 4 Trade Test Certificate - Mechanical • A Code 08 driver’s licence • Knowledge of turbines and compressors, statutory equipment (pressure vessels), pumps, filters and compressors • Rotating equipment experience • Basic knowledge of production processes • Computer literacy (including SAP).
