CSIS MIDDLE EAST PROGRAM SPRING 2013 INTERNSHIP


The Middle East program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) seeks full-time interns for the Spring 2013 semester. Internships in the Middle East program are research-based, and interns will have substantive responsibilities including compiling research briefs and literature reviews, briefing the program director weekly, writing event summaries, and drafting and editing articles for the Middle East program's monthly newsletter. Internships are unpaid, but interns will receive a transportation subsidy. You can find more information about the program's activities and research at http://csis.org/program/middle-east-program.

Qualifications


Eligibility:
  • Must be at least a college junior in good standing, an advanced student or a recent graduate.
  • Must have at least a 3.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent from a non-U.S. institution.
  • Must have demonstrated familiarity with and interest in the Middle East.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated research skills.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
