Lead Author Beyond2015

Beyond 2015 has launched an open and participatory process to define the campaign’s position around the conceptual foundations of the post-2015 framework.

For this task Beyond 2015 is searching for two lead authors, one from the global south and one from the global north. Their goal is to develop a Beyond 2015 position on the vision, purpose, principles and criteria of the post-2015 framework in order to influence the official UN process and to help us build our own civil society position on the content of a post-2015 framework. The lead authors will be appointed through a competitive process based on the following requisites:

- Extensive experience on text drafting.
- Come from organisation already involved in post-2015 issues.
- Well known for their neutrality and push for inclusiveness when taking decisions and ability to bring together different voices.
- Will be able to conduct the task until 2013.
- Knowledge of the background and history as well as the current status of the post-2015 agenda and development policy in the UN in general.
- Highly desirable to have good knowledge of Beyond 2015, its working methods and main principles.
- Highly desirable to have knowledge or working experience with web based platforms and online editing tools.

More detailed information about the role of the lead authors can be found here: http://www.beyond2015.org/news/call-lead-authors-develop-beyond-2015-position-content-post-2015-framework
