CONTRACT TYPE: 12 month Fixed Term Contract. 5 days per week.

SALARY
: £36,695 - £39,285 pro rata

We are now looking for a skilled Project Leader for our cutting edge and DFID PPA funded Value for Money Project pilot which is at forefront of our current thinking around maximising the impact of our spending to improve the lives of people living in poverty. We will look to you to manage all aspects of the pilot project and help us develop a better understanding of costs and results so that we can make more informed and evidence based choices as well as continuously improve practice. From arranging workshops with countries and collating their progress to identifying lessons and addressing issues you will play a leading role in our success. You will also deliver regular reporting to ensure we comply with DFID funding requirements.
With Masters (or equivalent experience) in economics and/or development related social sciences you will have experience of evaluating effectiveness and efficiency of non-profit interventions and gained a good understanding of the relationships between costs, input, output and outcomes. You will be comfortable managing large scale international projects and are used to liaising and reporting to large institutional donors. You will have strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as the ability to prioritise in a busy environment. A second language would be an advantage.
