IFC is recruiting a Program Assistant for its Manufacturing, Agribusiness and Services Department (“MAS”). The Program Assistant will be integrated into the team that develops new business, completes transactions, and supervises a portfolio of loan, quasi-equity and equity investments in Russia and other parts of Europe, Central Asia and Middle East.
Duties and Accountabilities:
• Work with a high level of discretion in providing overall administrative support to the MAS team (including scheduling appointments, arranging video and teleconferences, coordinating business travels, correspondence, monitoring activities to ensure appropriate follow up, document preparation for visits/events, etc.)

• Liaise with an extensive network of contacts at all levels, both internally and externally.

• Coordinate visits by clients and government officials. 

• Provide logistical support for meetings and official functions, including luncheons and receptions (arranging venues, communicating with participants, arranging catering etc.)

• Ensure that correspondence and relevant background materials for internal and external requirements are produced to meet tight deadlines, are of high quality and adhere to administrative and operational guidelines.

• Independently respond to inquiries.

• Undertake ad hoc inquiries in standard databases, retrieving and manipulating data, and summarizing basic statistics or other data.

• Ensure rigorous control and filing of records and easy accessibility of information.
Selection Criteria:
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in an international company or organization.

• High level competence in use of MS Office. 

• Outstanding interpersonal skills to interact internally and externally and deal effectively with good judgment, tact and diplomacy.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, multi-cultural environment, and function as an effective team member in various groups.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Russian to ensure quality of written outputs.
