About the role
 
As a revenue opportunity analyst, you’ll drive revenue maximisation through delivering pricing and inventory feedback metrics and identifying opportunities via analytical insights. Through your analysis you will influence the revenue management teams to take improved, insight-based revenue decisions.

About the day to day

  • Report on revenue management pricing and inventory performance and identify opportunities to maximise revenue
  • Influence the pricing and inventory teams to take improved revenue decisions based on insights
  • Maintain and manage the delivery of a number of regular reports to support key decision-making in revenue management, including pricing and inventory specific measures on management dashboards
    • Specifically the Key Performance Metrics used for driving revenue management specific opportunities and targeting
  • Provide insights to IAG and Joint business revenue management best practice groups
  • Innovate; help define prototype revenue management decision support tools/systems, and help introduce new ones
  • Assist pricing and inventory teams in exploiting decision support metrics, including questions on data and reports
  • Manage key stakeholders within projects

About you

  • Best practice and strong data analysis are going to be your watchwords throughout. A proven ability to deliver insights and recommendations through data analysis is a must. Your experience does not need to be in Revenue Management, but you do have a track record of structuring your analytical approach and influencing others to follow your recommendations.
  • You will need strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate your recommendations and insights to all levels in Revenue Management. Combined with an ability to manage your own workload and build effective relationships across the business.
  • You need to be fully systems literate with advanced Excel skills. A knowledge of SQL and SAS is highly desirable but not a must.
