Shift: 2nd Shift + 1WE Day
Summary: Process sustaining engineer to support WZ and bond and grind areas.
Job Responsibilities: Develop, sustain, and improve processes for wafer fabrication. Partner with equipment engineering, management and manufacturing to improve cycle time, tool availability, process/product yield, and cost reduction. Create and maintain operating specifications for production processes. Provide excellent customer service to the internal Cree customers to include the manufacturing operations and product engineering groups.
Requirements:
-Engineering Degree : Chemical Engineering or Material Science.
-Experience: 3 to 5 years of semiconductor process engineering experience (preferably in a high volume MFG environment)
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferences: In-depth technical understanding of semiconductor processes and equipment. Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to identify manufacturing improvements, manage change, and implement solutions. Strong working knowledge of SPC/DOE principles. JMP software data analysis expertise. Focus on innovation and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. High level of attention to detail and meticulous work habits. Successful sustaining engineering experience in supporting a high volume manufacturing organization.
