Mindspark is looking for a passionate software professional looking to leverage cutting edge technologies in a fast-moving team-oriented environment. In this position, you will be involved in all phases of the application development lifecycle: requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and utilizing new technologies in the MPP columnar database world.
 Required:
  • 2+ years of experience or MS in Computer Science/Engineering
  • BS in Computer Science/Engineering
  • Strong Database knowledge
  • Experience working with huge amounts of data
  • Proficiency in a Unix/Linux environment
  • Perl
  • C#, ASP.NET, IIS
Preferred:
  • Knowledge of MPP for Data Warehousing (ParAccel/Vertica/Greenplum)
  • Experience working with Business Intelligence software (preferably Tableau)
  • C++
Responsibilities:                                                                                                                                                                                   
  • Show high level of detail orientation, organization, flexibility, teamwork, and relationship building skills
  • Have great reasoning and debugging skills     
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills without supervision                                  
  • Work with business analysts and product teams to understand business requirements
  • Incorporate data sources across the organization into validated and approved data marts                                
  • Serve as a liaison between technology groups and business users                                                        
  • Work with end users and technology groups to establish and maintain project timelines                         
  • Utilize current applications and systems to research and monitor current activities and participate in audit
