A BIT ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Mindspark Planning and Analysis group is seeking a talented and self-motivated Financial Analyst to join the team.
In this role you will support the Finance, Marketing and Business Development teams with strategy development, business analytics, revenue forecasting, and new deal modeling for all of Mindspark’s online product offerings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with strategy development projects
  • Build and automate revenue forecasts for various business lines
  • Conduct analyses on media and search revenue trends and provide concrete suggestions on driving and maintaining yield
  • Collaborate on LTV models to predict lifetime value and yield and provide guidance on marketing LTVs
  • Own reporting and analysis of LTV and revenue forecasting for senior management
  • Understand trends and be able to provide clear verbal and written explanation of them
  • Serve as point of contact for marketing team to look at LTV from acquired users and analyze changes
  • Present forecasts and findings of all analyses to senior management
  • Work with Advertising Sales team to understand and forecast inventory and revenue trends
  • Process improvement and automation of existing manual tasks and reporting
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ideal candidate will have completed an analyst program at an investment bank, consulting firm, or corporate finance group in a Fortune 500 company
  • 2+ years experience with financial modeling, business analytics, forecasting, marketing analysis, and strategy planning
  • Bachelor in Math, Statistics, Business, Finance or related field
  • Direct experience in Internet search and/or online advertising preferred
  • Experience in Direct Marketing a plus
  • Experience in online publishing or search engine marketing a plus
  • Strength in developing, delivering and analyzing top level and detailed metric reports and analyses that provide meaningful insight and that can be easily digested by the entire organization
  • Experience interacting and communicating with engineering and cross-functional teams
  • Strong math skills and comfort level with data manipulation and analysis a must
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong problem solving and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, and  strong presentation skills
