Finance & Administration Manager, WWF-Myanmar

WWF is in process of establishing an office in Myanmar and is looking for an experienced Finance & Administration Manager. The F&A Manager will oversee and implement finance, accounting, administration (F&A) and HR systems, as ensure policies and procedures in WWF-Myanmar comply with relevant local laws and other statutory requirements related to F&A and HR in Myanmar.
As a member of the Country Management Team (CMT), he/she shares responsibility for the overall performance of the Country Office. He/she will build and implement an action plan for the WWF-Myanmar Operations unit, in line with the regional WWF-Greater Mekong Strategic Plan.
Base location: Yangon, Myanmar.
Key requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting, Human Resources Management, Business Management, Business Administration, or in relevant fields ( ACCA qualification or equivalent is an advantage).
  • 5 years of practical experience in office management (finance and Administration, or HR management), 3 years of which should be in Myanmar
  • Experience in implementing and monitoring the compliance of F&A and HR system, policies and procedures, preferably the context of an international organisation
  • Experience in developing F&A and HR systems, policies and procedures is an advantage
  • Thorough understanding of laws and regulations on labour, health and safety in Myanmar
  • Thorough understanding of international and local finance and accounting systems
  • Experience of working in multi-cultural environment
