Senior Aviation Consultant (Location Open) The Louis Berger Group, Inc., a top 25 ENR firm with offices globally, is a multidisciplinary consulting firm providing our clients with engineering and management solutions all sectors and phases of transportation and infrastructure development. Our aviation practice currently involves numerous projects in the United States and over 20 other countries, with business development activities and targeted pursuits ongoing in several other global locations. LBG is currently seeking a Senior Level Aviation Consultant.

The continued, sustained growth in passenger and air cargo demand necessitates development and introduction of advanced aviation technologies for improved airspace management, airfield and terminal development, and security and ground support services.

Role & responsibilities:
The Aviation Executive Consultant will work in a global aviation practice, which will include:
·        Providing guidance to a staff of planners, engineers, project managers and business development specialists working in
o    Activity Forecasting
o    Airfield Design
o    Airfield Lighting and Navigational Aids
o    Airport Business Planning
o    Airport Master Planning
·        Staying abreast of industry conditions, and program and project lead opportunities for growth.
·        Maintaining contacts and relationships with industry principals, airport authorities.
·        Aggressively pursuing new opportunities.
·        Contributing to the growth of the company in the Aviation sector.
Requirements:
·        15+ years experience in Airport and Aviation industry in both global and US markets, including airport development and planning.
·        Track record of success in business development of aviation program and construction management services.
·        Ability to interact with clients, airport officials, and teaming partners.
·        Successful experience with marketing, selling and delivery of airport development solutions and aviation services for major clients.
·        Good working relationships with numerous aviation related contacts at major US Airports, as well as international clients.
·        Connections and contacts within the Airport Planning, A&E and PM/CM industry for teaming purposes, and to facilitate identification of potential staffing candidates.
·        Excellent English language verbal, written communication, proposal, presentation development, and implementation skills.
·        Must be willing & able to travel frequently as required both within and outside the United States.
Education & skill requirements:
·        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Planning, Architecture, Construction Management or closely related field.
·        Advanced degree in business, engineering or related field preferred.
