Completion and Workover Engineer


Description:
The Completion and Workover Engineer monitors completion and workover activities and performs offset well production and completion analyses. Responsibilities include preparing the well proposal and basis of design for new well completions and workover activities and following the technical execution of programs. This position requires worldwide mobility with no restrictions.
Responsibilities:
  • Make technical completion recommendations to achieve production optimization.
  • Prepare workover, completion, and recompletion well programs and end-of-well reports.
  • Participate in well reviews to assist with diagnosis of well performance problem, and recommend programs for improvement or remediation of specific wells.
  • Perform engineering studies to solve recurring issues such as production performance, corrosion, and scale and to monitor well integrity.
  • Initiate engineering corrective action to ensure a process of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in petroleum engineering or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience (10 years for ompletion and Workover Engineer).
  • Practical knowledge in design and execution of workover, completion, and testing operations and procedures.
  • Local languages required for certain locations.
