The University's Alumni & Development Office aims to raise philanthropic funding to support the University's strategic priorities and runs an integrated programme to communicate and engage with alumni, supporters and friends of the University. 

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, aspiring fundraiser for a new post of Development and Stewardship Officer. The role would be ideal for someone looking to gain entry into higher education or charity fundraising and alumni relations and is keen to learn and develop in a fast growing and dynamic team. 

As Development and Stewardship Assistant, your primary responsibilities will be to ensure all our donors are kept informed and involved and the relationships are developed. The role will involve organising events and meetings, writing reports and update letters as well as providing day to day support and diary management to the Director of Development. 

Ideally you will have some experience of fundraising and have a keen interest in higher education. Good organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for this role. 

The post holder will have significant vocational experience. Knowledge or experience of the Higher Education sector and experience of an educational development office would be an advantage, but the key requirement is for an individual who can work effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
