Geotechnics Service Line Manager – Victoria/Tasmania

We are determined in our search to uncover a seasoned geotechnical manager for this critical leadership role to lead an industry pillar of geotechnical consulting excellence in the Victorian/Tasmanian markets. The position also plays a critical role in the global management team of Coffey Geotechnics.

About the role

The Geotechnics Manager, Victoria/Tasmania is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the business operation in the region of Victoria/Tasmania including the development and implementation of the strategic direction for the local business.

The role is ultimately responsible for;

• Leading the provision of safe work practices for our people
• Ensuring technical excellence standards are consistently deployed across the business to deliver quality outcomes and service excellence for our clients
• Driving business growth and profitability in line with the strategic plan
• Engaging and developing our Geotechnical consulting teams in the region

The position also plays a critical role in the global management team of the Geotechnics service line and will contribute to the development of growth, technical excellence and client delivery initiatives for the global Geotechnics business

About You

As a professional Geotechnical Manager, ideally you will have;

• Significant business leadership experience in a consulting engineering services environment
• Sound commercial acumen and proven financial management skills
• Passion for driving business growth and new client relations
• Commitment to building and developing technical teams
• Pride in driving our reputation for technical excellence
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline
