Graduate Project Management Toyota

This position will provide you with the opportunity to interact with every key division within Toyota Europe and Toyota Japan for a New Vehicle or Engine introduction all the way from the Styling stage through to the Mass Production stage. The coordination between key parties to resolve business and technical problems will be required with the ability to clearly communicate key issues to Top Management. As Expert Project Management you will be given the possibility to put into practice the theoretical knowledge you have gathered during your academic career by applying Toyota Production System (TPS) concepts like Just-in-Time and Continuous Improvement.

Your assets

• University Degree, preferably in engineering or business administration
• Good communication skills to summarise complex issues
• Analytical mindset with a highly developed ability to draw conclusions based on facts and   target objectives
• Result driven and able to break down complex tasks into manageable portions
• Ability to work independently in multi-disciplined teams

Your challenge

• You will be part of a team responsible for managing new Vehicle or Engine projects from the initial concept stage up to the final volume production launch, interacting with all related departments in the Toyota organization
• You will be involved in the planning of production volumes and product mix for our European Manufacturing Plants
• You will be responsible for the interpretation and implementation of design changes to support new product launch and existing product improvement•
  You will cover daily support activities as well as mid-term and long term activities through tailored objectives in line with the business needs
• You are looking for continuous improvements in this key part of the business
• You will be learning how to work with many departments in the organization to actively drive problem solving through a team working approach in line with the Toyota Way.
