Macquarie Law School is seeking to appoint a lecturer to contribute to the teaching and research programs in the School. Strengths in the discipline of Environmental Law and an ability to teach into core units within the LLB program will be regarded highly. The appointee will teach and coordinate at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and will actively seek funding for, and make a contribution to, the research activities of Macquarie Law School (including interdisciplinary research as appropriate). A lecturer is expected to make contributions to the teaching effort of the University and to carry out activities to maintain and develop his/her scholarly, research and/or professional activities relevant to the profession or discipline.

- Completion of an advanced degree in Law, or equivalent professional experience in law.
- Demonstrated experience in, or potential for, research/scholarship which may be evidenced by publications and/or success in attracting research support.
- Demonstrated experience in, or potential for, effective teaching including ability to develop scholarly and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
- Record of contributing, or capacity to contribute, to administration in a University or professional setting and to interact within these settings.
- Record of enhancing, or capacity to enhance, the University's reputation through engagement with relevant external stakeholders.
Salary Package: from $85,295 - $100,919 p.a. (Level B), plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading
