Lexlitis is a Belgian grouping of law firms with offices in Brussels, Liege, Ghent and Antwerp. The Brussels offices employ 30 lawyers and specialize in business law.

To support our expansion, we are looking for a: Part-time  Paralegal (M/F)
(13 to 19 hours per week, in the morning)

• Profile:
• A Bachelor’s degree and/or a previous administrative/paralegal experience within the legal or professional services sector is a plus but not a prerequisite.
• Native proficiency in English and full professional proficiency in French and/or Dutch.  Knowledge of other languages is an important asset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Reliable, accurate and scrupulous attention to detail.  Proactive, discrete, dynamic, team player and positive attitude.
• Customer-focused and service-minded.

Your function:
-You will work as a management assistant to one of the partners of the firm and report to him/her.
-As such, the following tasks may be entrusted to you:

• File maintenance (keeping the electronic and paper files up-to-date).
• Financial support (assistance in issuing invoices and follow-up ; keeping the accounting up-to-date ; preparing reports);
• Compilation of compliance documentation for the purpose of client identification.
• Implementation of the know-how management policy.
• Support of business development initiatives.
• Assistance in creating and maintaining a firm’s practice manual, as well as keeping it up-to-date to reflect regulatory and procedural changes.
• Secretarial services (typing, answering calls, arranging the layout of documents).
