The Upstream International Asia business began in Asia over a century ago, back in the 1890s, when the first wells were drilled by Shell in Sumatra and resulting in a first SE Asia commercial oil discovery in Miri, Sarawak in 1910. Recent developments in Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam and China provide an aggressive expansion to our portfolio in the region.

Shell Upstream International Asia operates in seven countries - Malaysia, China, Philippines, New Zealand, India, Brunei and Singapore.
Responsibilities:
Plan,control and execute a project or set of related projects,to meet identified business needs and deliver business value,acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills,within agreed parameters of cost,timescales and quality.

Requirements:
Plan, control and execute a project or set of related projects up to $3M (manpower budget) to meet identified business needs and deliver business value, acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality.

Define, documents and execute small projects, actively participating in all phases, identifying, assessing and managing risks to the success of the project.

Prepare realistic project and quality plans and tracks activities against the plans, providing regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate.

Monitors cost, timescales and resources used and takes action where these deviate from agreed tolerances.

Ensure that own projects are formally closed and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are captured and actioned. Produces appropriate documentation to support these processes.

Fully comply with and adhere to, all DV standards and processes and the Group Project Delivery Methodology.
