Duties: The successful applicant will be expected to (i) provide academic leadership through enhancement of teaching, research and community service activities of the Department; (ii) teach undergraduate as well as post-graduate courses; (iii) initiate, develop and establish research programs in Nutrition; (iv) carry out any responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: Senior Lecturer: Applicants must have (i) a Master’s Degree in Nutrition or a related discipline; (ii) a Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition or Nutrition with at least a 2(i) pass/ GPA of at least 3.6; (iii) at least 3 years of teaching experience at a University or comparable institution; (iv) have a good and sustained record of research and publications with at least 6 published publications, 4 of which must be in peer reviewed journals, (v) lead and/or single author in a least 2 journal articles or book chapters; (vi) evidence of sustained research activity and output; (vii) a relevant PhD, evidence of engagement in service and demonstration of effective academic leadership will be added advantages. Lecturer: Applicants must have (i) a Masters’ Degree in Nutrition or a related discipline; (ii) a Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition or Nutrition with at least a 2(i) pass/ GPA of at least 3.6; (ii) show evidence of engagement in research and service; (iv) a relevant PhD, teaching experience at a University or comparable institution and demonstration of effective academic leadership will be added advantages.
