We are now seeking suitable candidates for the position of Senior Lecturer/Lecturer Psychology.
Lecturer (LPSY): 2 level A/B* equivalent positionsSenior Lecturer (SLPSY): 1 level C equivalent position

Duties:
  • Make a significant contribution to the Department of Psychology's undergraduate and postgraduate programs through undergraduate teaching and research supervision for fourth-year students and Clinical Master and Doctoral students
  • Develop and maintain an active research program and a high level of professional activities
  • Assist with the administration of the Psychology programs including marking and assessment
  • Provide student consultation
  • Participate in administrative service to the University, including membership of committees, as requested by the Campus Dean.
Key Selection Criteria:
  • PhD in Psychology (or final stage completion of the degree for Lecturer level appointment)
  • A publication record relative to career stage
  • Evidence of quality teaching and supervision of students at the undergraduate and /or postgraduate level
  • The ability to teach across a range of subjects including (but not limited to) biological psychology, forensic psychology, research methods/statistics, sensation and perception, health psychology and counselling
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relations with colleagues in an academic environment and with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Highly Desirable Criteria:
  1. Membership (or eligibility for membership) of the Australian Psychology Society (APS)
  2. Membership (or eligibility for membership) of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists
For exceptional candidates, an appointment at Associate Professor Level (level D) will be considered.

Employment type: Fulltime, Renewable contract, subject to a probationary period.
Remuneration and conditions: The positions command an appropriate remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience. All employment salary arrangements are offered in Singapore currency.
