Principal Accountabilities

  • This is a crucial role with a significant, positive impact on our business. Ceaselessly monitoring and updating our marketing plan, you’ll be a trusted planning expert. Supporting the region’s Marketing Manager, you’ll translate our commercial plans into integrated tactical marketing plans
  • Championing marketing effectiveness, you’ll make insightful, ongoing planning recommendations and collaborate on the creation of the Regional Marketing and Engagement Plan
  • With a substantial budget, your broad and varied remit will span everything from spend and budget control, through to the cohesion of global activities and processes
  • You’ll monitor competitors, share best practice, help to define marketing metrics and drive continuous improvement
  • You will work with the global Marketing Planning & Prioritisation team to ensure region’s requirements are clearly understood and delivered to by the central marketing teams
  • Ensure visibility of the integrated plan for the region for the key stakeholders
  • Co-ordinate regional input into the planning process
  • Champion the Customer Best Practice in the region, ensuring that it is embedded in working processes and there is optimal asset reuse
  • Ensure internal communications are aligned with tactical marketing activity
  • Co-ordinate regional input into performance management cycle for the global marketing agencies

The Individual

  • You’ll bring to the role proven experience of marketing planning in a commercial environment from either a marketing or communications planning background or as part of a more generalist marketing role
  • Highly commercially astute, you relish the constant refinement of business planning and thrive when managing complex, evolving projects and budgets
  • We’ll expect you to be self-motivated and results-driven
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including a flair for making presentations and influencing across teams, will really set you apart
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence across teams
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity
  • Understanding of the roles of each communication channel and their role in the overall channel mix
