Deloitte Graduate Recruitment Officer - Manchester


Responsible for overseeing the process elements of all student recruitment across region.  Planning and facilitation of office events across region.  Responsible for the planning and delivery of campus activity across region at a number of target universities.

Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:

  • Full pipeline management from application stage through to offer for all graduate, undergraduate and school leaver programmes for a group of offices
  • Build and maintain relationship with business including Graduate Recruitment Partners, Champions and Resourcing Managers to ensure SLA's are met
    • Manage expectations with regards to recruitment market
    • Seek clarification on recruitment targets
    • Communicate and ensure full understanding of recruitment policies across stakeholder group
    • Provide fortnightly pipeline updates to key contacts within region
  • Analysis of pipelines- running regular reviews of candidate performance by application stage and specific target universities and schools
  • Ensure the end to end processing of candidates through candidate tracking system (GTI) takes place in a timely manner
  • Processing of extenuating circumstances for relevant offices,
  • Coordinate staffing for office and campus events, also utilising campus teams where possible
  • Point of contact for service line / secretarial support within cluster of offices
  • Coordinate and/or facilitate office based attraction events such as Deloitte Discovery
    • Confirming candidates attendance
    • Follow up post event with attendees
    • Organise room bookings, catering, support with provision of materials and staffing requests
  • Attendance at Open Presentations, Careers Fairs and campus events in cluster
  • Design, coordination and delivery of campus events across the region
    • Managing campus teams and seek regular updates on their activity
    • Management of scholar population at target universities
    • Regular meetings and calls with careers service contacts at target universities
    • Managing sponsorship agreements at target universities
    • Management of budget for campus activities
    • Utilisation of campus ambassadors
  • Manage data input for the Onboarding of all recruits in a timely manner
    • Follow all policies and procedures required

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience/Knowledge:

  • High volume applicant management and processing, including all elements of selection and assessment.
  • Appropriate understanding of relevant employment legislation.
  • Specific Graduate Recruitment knowledge needed
  • Specific Graduate Recruitment campus/school knowledge needed.
  • Large Event planning and implementing experience
  • Experience in the use of Recruitment Management Systems.
  • Understanding and knowledge of relevant psychometric/assessment tools.
