Monitor plays a pivotal role in regulating the health sector. Working at Monitor is rewarding, challenging and makes a real difference to people's lives. Monitor has established a reputation as a professional, knowledgeable and focused organisation. Its staff have helped to build this reputation and Monitor is keen to recruit exceptional people who will enhance and maintain the high standards on which it prides itself.
Monitor was set up in 2004 as the independent regulator of NHS foundation trusts. The Health and Social Care Act 2012 makes changes to the way health care is regulated in order to strengthen the way patients' interests are protected and promoted. Monitor's role is changing significantly as we take on a number of new responsibilities as the sector regulator for health care. Pricing is one of the new responsibilities. Regulating £67bn of NHS spend will be challenging, therefore we seek to recruit exceptional individuals to join our high calibre and passionate team.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents. All third party applications will be forwarded to Michael Page.
