Job Summary

​Due to a significant project win for a major marine and environmental monitoring project, our Water and Environment team are seeking a Financial and Administrative Assistant to assist with the financial and administrative management of the business.  This is a fixed term contract based in Cardno’s Sydney office.

Key Responsibilities

  • ​Payment / Invoice reconciliation
  • Data processing and manipulation
  • Financial and schedule monitoring
  • Generating monthly financial reports
  • Reviewing timesheets and receipts against schedules
  • Filing
  • Liaising with staff and suppliers
  • Maintenance of scientific library database
  • Organizing and booking staff travel

Other Requirements

  • ​Tertiary qualified or relevant experience
  • Advanced Excel and Word skills
  • Microsoft Project skills – Desirable
  • Basic database skills
  • Strong Attention to detail
  • Demonstrated strong communication
  • Demonstrated self-organisation and a high degree of personal accountability
