NSS Engineer Tigo Tanzania
Role Purpose
Administer daily, system operation and maintenance of all NSS network nodesKey Responsibilities
- Daily operation and maintenance of NSS nodes
- Attend to and resolve all alarms using standard vendor documentation for operation and maintenance of NSS nodes.
- Escalate all service affecting faults in accordance with department fault escalation procedures.
- Daily backup of switch transaction logs and billing files.
- Perform weekly configuration backup of all core network nodes.
- Record and document all major activities performed during shift.
- Perform daily subscriber dump for it department.
- Ensure daily alog transfer is dumped appropriately for it department.
- Maintain general neatness and security in the OMC.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to the system.
- Accurate and timely reporting of network outages
- Act as alternate backup for NSS supervisorPosition Requirements
- Bsc. Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering
- 1-3 years work experience in related field
