Archaeologist (Kansas City, MO)

Louis Berger solicits applications for the position of Archaeologist in our Kansas City, Missouri office. We are looking for a dedicated, innovative, and self‑motivated individual wishing to pursue quality archaeological research in a cultural resource management context.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.A. in Anthropology/Archaeology, established experience in material culture analysis and interpretation, be technologically innovative, have solid database skills, and demonstrated technical writing (CRM reports and associated documentation) capability. A minimum of three years of professional experience in the context of Section 106/110 compliance is required. The preferred candidate will be knowledgeable regarding the federal laws, regulations, standards, and guidelines governing cultural resources. Ability to communicate directly and effectively, work in a team environment, prepare budgets/proposals and reports, manage multiple projects, and supervise personnel is essential. Applicants must list their current permits and licenses.
