ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST

The Louis Berger & Assoc., P.C. (LBA), a NYS Professional Engineering and Environmental Consulting firm seeks an Environmental Scientist with 3 to 5 years experience in remedial investigation, remedial construction monitoring, and reporting, for our New York City office.

Responsibilities:

This position will have you involved in a lead scientist and/or support roles in investigation, and remediation oversight projects for public and private clientele.  Project responsibilities will range from remedial investigation and remedial construction oversight field activities, and project reporting.

Requirements:

- 3 to 5 years experience with the above responsibilities;

- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related disciplines, M.S. a plus;

- 40-hr OSHA HAZWOPER certification preferred;

- Good writing and communication skills desired.
