Chemonics technical experts in The Philippines


Chemonics seeks technical experts for short-term assignments for the anticipated three-year, USAID-funded ASEAN Connectivity through Trade and Investment (ACTI) program, based in Jakarta. The program aims to assist ASEAN member states at the regional and national level to implement their commitments in support of integrated and harmonized customs and of a trading and investment regime by 2015. The program will improve the capacity of ASEAN member states to implement single-window systems, facilitate delivery of clean energy and energy efficient technologies, implement its information and communications technology (ICT) master plan, and enhance the capacity of ASEAN small and medium enterprises (SMEs). We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world. We seek specialists in technical areas that include the following:
  • Single-window customs
  • SME capacity building
  • SME and e-commerce
  • ICT security
  • ICT infrastructure
  • ICT data management
  • Mobile money
  • Renewable energy
  • Energy efficiency
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field required
  • Minimum ten years of experience in one of the respective technical areas listed above required; experience on USAID-funded projects preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
  • Proficiency in English required; proficiency in one or more foreign languages preferred
