Bell Pottinger’s Public Affairs Brussels office invites applications for the position of European Account Director.
The full-time role, which is based at the company's Brussels office, is open to English-speakers with at least three years of experience working for European institutions or Brussels-based public affairs – preferably in the fields of environmental and energy policy.

The Brussels Office
The Bell Pottinger Public Affairs Brussels team works to ensure effective communication between its clients and their key political stakeholders across Europe, but most importantly in the EU institutions. They provide intelligence and insight into the political process and the development of regulation and assist in crafting messages and in engaging with key political audiences.

The role
The role will involve the following:
- Taking the lead in managing the day-to-day strategic direction of client accounts;
- Proactively assisting the Director of European Affairs with new business development
- Assisting the Director of European Affairs with the day-to-day management of the office.
Requirements
- Degree educated;
- At least three years of experience of working in European Public Affairs;
- Expert knowledge of the institutional workings of the European Union – particularly the European Commission;
- Good knowledge of European Union policy in the field of environment and energy policy;
- A strong network of contacts within the European Union institutions;
- Exemplary presentational skills.
