Salary: up to £28,401 per annum (Subject to qualifications and experience) 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Faculty Marketing, Web and Digital Media Team.  The post holder will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Faculty's web content and functionality, including development of intranet areas, working with academic departments and key staff in the Faculty.  You will have a close link into the University's Web Development Team under the Department of Marketing and Communications. 

Located in the heart of the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences, the post holder will work closely with the Faculty Manager, the University's Web Development Team, Faculty Marketing Manager and academic colleagues to support the development and growth of the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences within and outside of the University of Surrey. 

Professional, enthusiastic and proactive, with excellent interpersonal skills, you will have the ability to liaise with a variety of colleagues at differing levels of seniority to achieve deadlines and extract information.  You will possess excellent editorial skills, specifically for a website; have experience of using a web content management system, with excellent IT skills generally, with experience of providing some training and support to non-technical/IT staff.  

Applicants will therefore be effective and confident communicators and will ideally have experience of working in a similar role within the education sector, along with a demonstrable enthusiasm for the subject areas of the Faculty.
