Senior Campaigns Officer The Prostate Cancer Charity

Prostate cancer kills 10,000 men every year. Yet tests, treatments and funding for research lag way behind other common cancers. We believe men deserve better. Do you?

We are looking for an experienced public affairs professional, who will develop and lead the implementation of evidence-based campaigns to improve prostate cancer services and care. You will be responsible for the implementation and evaluation of campaign strategies and key campaigning events, as well as identifying new opportunities to maintain and extend the Charity's influence.

Persuasive and influential in your approach, you will have an excellent understanding of the political and legislative processes across the UK, as well as knowledge of national health and social care systems. You will have the ability to build and maintain effective, successful relationships with individuals across the organisation and with key external stakeholders, and you will be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced working environment.

Educated to degree level, or with equivalent experience, you will have a proven background in public affairs and/or developing and implementing effective campaigns within a voluntary or political environment.
