BBC West serves a diverse range of audiences living and working across Bristol, Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. The weekday Early Breakfast programme is broadcast on four BBC local radio stations from studios in Bristol.  

Role

 
You will be the first voice at the start of the day, so you will need to enjoy working early in the morning. You will need to be great company, able to handle the early morning news, travel updates, weather information and morning papers confidently and also have a good knowledge of the region. Later in the morning you will also play a key part in the BBC Radio Bristol Breakfast programme hosted by Steve LeFevre when your duties will involve presenting the traffic and travel news.

Requirements

 
You will need to be an experienced and versatile presenter who also has high level technical skills. It is important that you have a thorough knowledge of the target audience and have the skill and on-air presence to establish a really strong bond with listeners from all walks of life.
