The Organisation
BG Trinidad & Tobago a major producing asset for BG Group, contributing some 27mmboe production per year with a strategic objective to increase this to 50mmboe per year by 2020. BG Group supplies gas to the domestic market and to Atlantic LNG with around two thirds of production being exported as LNG and the remainder going to the domestic market.
Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to ensure that asset modifications, aimed at improving HSSE, asset integrity, productivity and reliability performance are conducted in s safe, timely and cost-effective manner with a high level of quality.
Key Accountabilities
The Delivery Manager is accountable for the quality and completeness of the detailed design engineering deliverables for the project, including but not limited to:
• Co-ordinate and execute nominated projects in accordance with the BGTT Valued Assurance Framework for Brownfield projects.
• Maintains HSE focus within the team and ensure continued improvement of the HSSE performance of the Trinidad and Tobago Asset.
• Actively adopt the BGTT Life Savers during project execution.
• Monitors the closure of all identified risks and opportunities.
• Contribute to the planning and development of the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
• Contribute to the development of project schedules.
• Act as primary co-ordination interface with contractors to achieve successful completion of the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
• Actively adopt change control processes during project execution.
• Actively interpret specifications, drawings, standards and regulations relating to new process systems, platform design changes and modifications.
• Coordinate multidiscipline engineering activities to ensure projects are executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner.
• Collaborate with Design Contractors in performing Mechanical engineering duties associated with the project e.g. equipment selection and specification.
• Manage inter-discipline interfaces effectively.
• Ensure project conformance with the approved Basis of Design and all applicable regulatory and code requirements.
• Prepare project workpacks and Management of Change packages for Operations approval prior to project execution offshore.
• Contribute to development of commissioning workpackages and close-out workpackages.
• Focus team on achievement of milestones and key project objectives.
• Proactively resolve performance, scope, schedule, design and constructability issues as they arise, and propose corrective means of recovering potential schedule and budget overruns.
• Monitors cost aspects of the project within direct control and forecasts final costs, identifies trends and takes action to avoid cost overruns.
• Participate in the technical evaluation of contractor bids for the supply of goods or services to BGTT.
• Assess procurement processes throughout the project to ensure goods meet specification, are delivered on time and are within budget
• Participate in hazard operability studies, process hazard analyses and P&ID reviews with regards to new equipment and systems.
• Participate in the development of operating and maintenance procedures for new equipment and continual review of existing procedures for continuous improvement.
• Provide technical troubleshooting assistance to the operating personnel
• Contribute to project peer assists, peer reviews and technical assurance reviews to progress the project and ensure compliance with VAF and approvals procedures.
• Refer major problems during a project’s duration to the Project Manager.

Unique Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attribute
Experience Needed: • Experience in planning, executing and leading business improvement asset modification projects in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.
• Experience in developing or working with a structured engineering modification procedure or system.
• Experience in developing and/or managing an EPIC, EPCM or other similar engineering contract.
• Experience in a leadership or managerial role.
• Experience in participating or leading Hazard and Operability reviews.
• Experience in troubleshooting processing equipment or systems malfunctions.

Skills:
• A degree in Engineering.
• Further education in an Engineering, Business, Project Management, or other similar discipline, would be an asset.
• Knowledge of key business disciplines such as Project Management, Quality Management, Production / Operations Management, HSSE, Human Resource Management, Finance and Economics, contracts and Procurement, Strategic Management and Organizational Behaviour.
• Knowledge of gas processing or process plant engineering modification systems and procedures, maintenance philosophies and procedures and asset integrity philosophies and procedures.
• A good working knowledge of rotating equipment, stationary equipment and gas processing equipment and systems.
• A high level of safety awareness and knowledge of applicable regulations
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal and team skills
• Computer literate with typical office packages and mechanical and maintenance engineering packages
• Experience with:
- Brownfield upgrade
- Pipeline inspection
- Upgrade projects
- Accommodation projects
