Responsibilities/Output:
Solutions consultant involved in business consulting and transformation, process related work, application of technology to solve business challenges.
 Delivery 
 Manage small to medium sized project delivery 
 Manage finances associated with project delivery 
 Analysing strategy, strategic plans/objectives and other client related data 
 Develop industry knowledge and thought leadership for business environments and industry solutions and tools 
 Understand and interpret complex business challenges 
 Conceive innovative solution for clients 
 Actively participate and manage all aspects of project delivery 
 Think independently and creatively when formulating solutions 
 Facilitate and lead team problem solving and client issue resolution efforts 
 Fulfil project assignments as required 
 Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end business solutions which are enabled by technology 
 Be recognised as an expert in current technologies and their applications within a business context 
 Lead multi-disciplinary delivery teams and take full ownership of the quality of the project delivery 
 Develop architectural capabilities across business and technology architectures with a focus on solving client business problems 
 Maintain and develop technology transformation skills
Sales 
 Conceive innovative solutions for clients and industries 
 Supports business development initiatives through the compilation of proposals and bid documentation 
 Engage with clients in identify opportunities for improvements within their businesses 
 Meet pipeline and sales targets at existing and new clients 
 Identify new solution opportunities and convert these into sales
Relationships 
 Be able to build and sustain professional relationships both within PwC and externally 
 Actively collaborate with colleagues in solving unique business and technology challenges 
 Build effective relationships with team members that you lead 
 Fulfil coaching and mentorship roles to junior staff 
 Build long term relationships with clients that can be translated into revenue opportunities
Delivery 
 Demonstrate competence in managing projects
Have a solid understanding of business process reengineering techniques 
 Solid understanding of programming and SDLC methodologies – typically gained on large scale systems development projects 
 Programming experience is required 
 Ability to multi-task, prioritize and coordinate tasks to meet multiple deadlines and conflicting client and company constraints 
 Must be a self-starter, motivated individual who works well under pressure 
 Manage and plan own and others work ? Is able to motivate a team for excellent delivery

Competencies / Skills:
Public Sector experience 
 6 - 8 years relevant project and consulting experience 
 1-2 years experience managing clients and project teams 
 1-2 years formal sales and sales pipeline management experience 
 Relevant B degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering 
 An advanced business degree is an advantage (e.g. MBA, Post Graduate Diploma in Management) 
 Enterprise architecture certification highly recommended 
 Formal project management certification highly recommended 
 ICT Operations certification an advantage (e.g. ITIL) 
 Formal business process improvement methodologies an advantage
