Job Summary

The Electoral Support Program Phase 3 (ESP3) is a two-year AU$14.6 million AusAID project in Papua New Guinea (PNG). The goal of ESP3 is to contribute to strengthened PNG electoral systems.
 
The Program Officer will manage a small administrative support team and work with Program personnel, the PNG Electoral Commission and the Program Board, under the direction of the Program Manager. S/he will maintain and implement all administrative, accountancy and financial management processes, to ensure the effective management of the Program.​

Key Responsibilities

Selection criteria:
  • High level administrative and financial management and reporting skills;
  • Experience in monitoring financial reports;
  • Experience supervising a small administration and finance team;
  • Experience setting up and maintaining information management systems;
  • Computing skills: word processing, spreadsheets and financial packages;
  • Experience in providing secretariat support and minute taking;
  • Accounting degree with preferred experience in contract auditing;
  • Experience working for a donor funded facility, with GoPNG procurement guidelines and procedures, and with civil society organisations is preferred. AusAID classifies this position for PNG nationals.
