Job Summary
We are currently seeking a senior IT Leader to join our global head office in an integral role that will set the strategic direction for the IT function across the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager you will lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team in a Shared Services environment to deliver first class services to an expanding client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate the Shared Service vision into strategic and operational plans in collaboration with your management team and oversee its execution
- Foster a culture within the technology teams that is driven to deliver best practice solutions using highly efficient methodologies across Service Delivery, Applications and Infrastructure
- Work with the Regional Shared Service Management team to champion and embed the newly implemented model within the ANZ region
- Ensure the integration of new merger partners onto Cardno systems is effective and seamless
- Project manage IT initiatives ensuring deliverables are achieved in a timely, efficient and cost effective manner
- Develop solid relationships with business managers to ensure IT services are aligned with operational needs
- Proactively identify potential operational risks and develop strategies and controls to mitigate these
- In collaboration with Cardno’s Global IT team implement global initiatives within the ANZ region and ensure global IT services and infrastructure needs are met
- Manage the technology budget in line with our levels of authority and identify cost savings or efficiencies
Other Requirements
- Extensive experience within a senior IT leadership capacity
- Tertiary (and ideally post graduate) qualifications in IT
- Proven experience managing teams across a wide geographical location
- Well developed interpersonal skills and an ability to lead and manage change
- Demonstrated project management skills and experience
- Strong commercial acumen to determine business requirements and develop IT deliverables accordingly
- Strong management skills in the areas of leadership, professional development and internal/external stakeholder relations
- Demonstrated financial management ability coupled with a commercial mindset to develop and implement IT strategies
- Experience within a Shared Services environment is preferred
