Account Manager Location: Hannover - Germany


The Account Manager coordinates sales opportunities for products and services in assigned region and has overall responsibility for preparation of proposals, quotes, and tenders. Successful Account Managers have strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to establish and retain strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinates sales opportunities with support of technical personnel and sales team.
  • Maintains CRM entries for all opportunities validated by technical sales team.
  • Maintains strong relationships at all client levels.
  • Prepares and finalizes all quotes and tenders with assistance from technical personnel and sales team.
  • Participates in legal and financial negotiations of all requests for proposals, tenders, and contracts in coordination with legal and tax specialists.
  • Controls and approves current-month invoicing and provides next-month forecasts. 
  • Ensures contracts comply with company policy and practices. 
  • Maintains 4-quarter rolling revenue forecast for all accounts.
  • Assists finance department in resolving collection issues.
  • Monitors competition, market share, and pricing within assigned region.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in oil and gas industry.
  • Fluency in German language, both verbal and written.
