Copa-Cogeca Policy Advisors


Their main functions will be to:
  • Monitor European policy initiatives and identify emerging trends and issues, particularly with regard to the CAP, international trade and legal issues.
  • Provide thorough analyses of developments and their impact on Copa-Cogeca members and develop Copa-Cogeca’s positions
  • Organise and coordinate the respective Copa-Cogeca Working Parties.
  • Develop, together with members, Copa-Cogeca’s lobbying activities to influence the EU institutions and external partners.
  • Network with the member organisations of Copa, Cogeca and other European NGOs.
  • Report to the respective director and be capable of working in a multicultural team.
Profile:
  • University degree (BSc or MSc) in agronomy, economics, law or environmental sciences.
  • A solid understanding of the CAP, other European policies and international trade is essential.
  • Professional experience in agriculture at European level is an advantage.
  • Language skills: Fluency in English and French are required. Other European Union languages are an advantage.
  • Very good sense of team spirit and team coordination.
  • Strong analytical skills and efficient communicator.
Computer literacy: (MS Office).
