Development Policy Intern European External Policy Advisers


Founded in 2003, Europe External Policy Advisors (EEPA) is a Brussels-based centre of expertise on the EU's external policies. EEPA works on a wide variety of subjects relating to the EU's external policies, including legal frameworks, the annual budget and programming.
It also works on specific policy areas such as children¹s rights, gender equality and HIV/AIDS. EEPA conducts lobbying and advocacy, does research and analysis, organises conferences and works on information dissemination, curriculum development and web design and content management.
EEPA offers internship opportunities to young, motivated and committed students and graduates, who are willing to learn, grow and acquire experience.
An internship with EEPA gives the possibility to develop the interns’ skills and to get experience in working with the EU Institutions and their partners from all over the world, ranging from NGOs to International Organizations.
The tasks that the intern will be required to perform will include the following:
  • Managing the website;
  • Monitoring the media and EU policies;
  • Following of the European Parliament committees;
  • Drafting and  writing articles;
  • Research and analysis on the topics covered by the work of EEPA;
  • Organization of  meetings, events and advocacy campaigns;
  • Office administrative tasks.
Candidate profile
  • Academic background
  • Good research and drafting skills
  • Good understanding of EU institutions
  • Fluent written and spoken English (other languages an advantage, in particular French)
Start: Immediately
A certificate will be provided at the successful completion of the internship.
The renumeration is 8 € per full working day + monthly public transport abonnement in Brussels.
