Located 80 kilometres south of Tom Price, Greater Paraburdoo is an open pit operation producing high grade ore through a central processing plant. It comprises of the three mines Paraburdoo, Channar and Eastern Range.  The picturesque town of Paraburdoo offers residents a range of leisure facilities and local amenities including a jet-serviced airport.
 
Reporting to the Plant Production Shift Supervisor, you will be ensuring that all fixed plant work is performed in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.  
 
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Operating equipment and ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with site safety  standards
  • Performing basic maintenance functions to the fixed plant equipment
  • Monitoring  and controlling a large fixed plant including conveyors, crushers, screens or wet plant
  • Working on the train load out facility
  • Reporting maintenance requirements and breakdown issues
  • Fostering a culture of zero harm and continuous improvement.
To be successful for this role, you will have a Western Australian "C" class or Heavy Rigid driver's license. Your fixed plant mining experience in a mineral processing unit and operating bobcats is essential for this role. Additionally, your possession of Dogman, Rigger ticket and wet plant experience is advantageous.
