Crown Agents is an international development specialist that partners with leaders across the world to make lasting changes to systems, organisations and society. We work with governments, companies and NGOs in over 100 countries.
We are looking for International Development Advisers with expertise in Trade Facilitation to form part of a team that will scope, plan, bid for and deliver solutions for diverse and inspiring projects across the globe. Bringing skills and knowledge to the table, you will get involved in the implementation of projects and identifying and developing new business opportunities. Every day will offer a new challenge, whether it's technical, commercial or project related. The role demands a certain amount of overseas travel.
With a proven track record in international development and an established network with donor organisations, you are likely to be in a similar role at a consultancy firm or NGO. Your experience in monitoring project income, expenditure and cash flow is important, as is proven experience in delivering and leading teams in Trade and/or Trade Facilitation technical consultancy services with emphasis on Trade and Transport facilitation, border management and control and one stop border posts is important. Knowledge and experience working in developing countries, particularly West Africa region will be an advantage. A post graduate degree in international trade/trade facilitation would be ideal.
