At ActionAid we've undergone significant planned change to ensure we are better positioned to deliver lasting solutions to the problems of global poverty. A new structure and fresh thinking has re-energised the organisation. We've now created fantastic career opportunities for experienced sector professionals who want to be part of an organisation that is focused on delivering a bold strategy to provide sustained improvements to the poorest and most excluded people in the world. Join our action to end poverty now and be part of something truly amazing.
As a Celebrity Coordinator you will deliver against objectives by collaborating with colleagues to enlist the support of celebrities and other high profile personalities, retain that support over the long term and manage existing relationships. This will involve identifying new celebrity voices/ambassadors that will raise our profile with our audiences as well as ensuring celebrities are involved in fundraising, emergencies and campaigning actions. We will look to you to build and maintain an effective network, preserve strong relationships and ensure celebrities remain engaged by organising activities such as photo-shoots or trips to see our work in action.
It is essential that you have substantial experience of working with celebrities and have a strong understanding of developing celebrity relationships. You must also have worked in a PR environment and have a proven track record of building contacts with celebrities and their representatives.
