Fundraising Assistant, GS-6


Private Sector Fundraising and Partnership Section of UNICEF Thailand Country Office is urgently seeking qualified candidates to fill the Fundraising Assistant (GS-6) Temporary Appointment position.
Under the general supervision of the Fundraising Specialist, the main responsibilities include:
• Provide support in managing current fundraising campaigns and developing new fundraising techniques to acquire new donors with a focus on pledge donation and donor retention programme i.e. telemarketing, digital marketing, direct response through television, mobile/SMS marketing, face-to-face fundraising and others. • Dealing with contractors, suppliers and relevant personnel within and/or outside the office. • Assist in monitoring and evaluating the campaign performance. • Provide administrative and secretarial support
Minimum Qualifications
• Completion of secondary education with post-secondary specialized training in marketing or fundraising. University degree in related field, i.e. Business Administration, Communication and Marketing, preferable. • Six years of relevant work experience with a minimum of 3 years in support functions of sales/marketing and/or fundraising areas. • Hands-on experience in business development and new media development is a strong asset. • Knowledge of campaign management process. • Excellent command of Thai and English both oral and written, proficiency in MS office. • Able to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment. • Strong commitment to quality of work, knowledge sharing and team work. • Proven ability to be analytical based on integration of verbal, numerical and other types of data.
