Objective
|
Global objective
The general objective of this contract is to support the Israeli Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the European Commission in the preparation of an institutional Twinning project within the framework of the EU- Israel Action Plan.
Specific objective(s)
The specific objective of this contract is to support the Israeli Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in drafting of a clear and concise Twinning Fiche necessary for launching an institutional Twinning. The Twinning Fiche shall be circulated simultaneously to the 27 EU Member States in an invitation to submit proposals for its joint implementation.

Qualifications required:
|
Qualifications and skills
• University Degree in marine biologists, natural resource management, engineering economics or in other relevant fields or equivalent experience relevant to the assignment;
• Excellent knowledge on the Acquis Communautaire in the field of aquaculture policy;
• Working experience in policy advice in the fishery\aquaculture sector or management of development programmes;
• Fluent English, oral and written;
General professional experience
• At least 10 years experience in the area relevant to the assignment.
Specific professional experience
• Experience in leading missions for project identification and/or drafting project design documents would be an asset.
